Benefits of Working Out for Your Business

Working out has obvious health benefits but people often don't realize all the benefits that it gives entrepreneurs like myself.


One of the first things people ask me is how do I make time for the gym and run a business. My response is always that working out gives me more energy and when I workout for 1 hour in a day I feel like I gain 2 hours of productivity. This benefit really only happens after you workout consistently for some time, but it is real.


When you workout you are able to focus longer. It has been a proven method of treating A.D.H.D for ages.

You don't get sick as often

Working out gives your system a natural immune system boost. Of course, this does depend on how hard you workout. Once I worked out 5 days straight and every workout was harder than the next and ended up with a cold by the end of the week. This is because you are taking resources away from your immune system when you workout at extreme levels.

Weight Control

Personally, my goals are usually to get bigger and weigh more so I lift weights and consume a lot of protein in order to obtain those goals. Most people are trying to lose weight and working out combined with a healthy diet will make those goals more achievable.


Confidence is sometimes the most important part of owning a business. Working out gives you the confidence to know that you are trying to be the best person you could be every day. This helps you have a greater self-worth.

Better Skin

Sweating is a natural way for your skin to cleanse its pores and a way to sweat is in burning calories at the gym.

Better Sex Life

I don't think I need to say any more.

Sleep Better

Since I have started working out I have been able to sleep much better. I wake up fully rested and I rarely wake up during the middle of the night.


The endorphins that pump in your brain during a workout will put you in a good mood all day.


It is fun to workout so why not do it! If you don't think it's fun just find a way to make it fun for you. There are plenty of different types of exercises.
